Workplace Giving

Why give in your workplace?

Workplace giving is one of most impactful ways you can help us to empower young vulnerable women to become strong, independent, and capable of taking their place in the world. Your contribution will help support young vulnerable women with their transition from out of home care into independent living around Australia.

Regular donations through workplace give us the certainty we need to plan. A lot of people giving a little on a regular basis will make a world of difference.

How does it work?

It enables you as an employee to make a real difference through regular donations from your pre-tax pay whilst going about your everyday work. It doesn’t take much; in fact you probably won’t notice the difference to your pay. By donating money directly through your payroll system, your donation is deducted from your pre-tax salary. This means you obtain the tax benefit immediately, rather than having to apply at the end of the financial year. You can donate as much or little as you like (minimum $1).

There is no need for you to remember to make a payment each month. You can opt out anytime as you have full control over your giving and it is a tax effective way to give to a charity, costing you less to give more. Your place of work may also match your donation, making your donation even more significant.

Contact your workplace giving team which is generally your Human Resources or Payroll team. If you can’t find the right person, let The Warrior Woman Foundation help you by contacting us at: warrior@warriorwoman.org.au
