Who We Help
WHO WE HELP
We are a socially inclusive, non-religious organisation welcoming ALL young women
who need our help. These include:
- Young women who would benefit from having a female mentor to guide them.
- Young women who lack family support to help them through their final years of high school.
- Young women who struggle to reach their potential due to past/present trauma.
- Young women living in foster care, state care or leaving the out of home care system (OOHC).
- Young women who have lived experience with family and community services.
- Young women who are at high risk of homelessness.
- Young women impacted by domestic violence.
- Young women with mental health needs who need a little extra support.
- Young women without natural support networks at risk of falling through the cracks.
Our female population in Australia is diverse, and so are we.
We strongly encourage applications from:
- Young migrant women who have little connection to the community.
- Young women living with a disability.
- Young women from the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
- Young women socially isolated.
- Young women who simply need our help.
