Confidentiality Agreement
The Warrior Woman Foundation Ltd
The Warrior Woman Foundation Ltd ABN 39 639 603 071 (Warrior Woman Foundation)’s mission is to empower young, marginalised women between the ages of 17-25+ transitioning into independent living. Its flagship program, the Young Warrior Woman Program (Program), is a mentoring and psycho-educational program which provides connection, life skills education, and mental health support. Based on the Self Determination Theory, the Program is designed to foster autonomy and financial independence.
Throughout the Program, mentees are referred to as “Young Warriors”. Each Young Warrior is supported by a group of mentors who are referred to as “Wise Warriors”. These are caring, stable, and positive female role models from the local community who provide support, guidance and impart the wisdom of life experience. As an additional layer of support, the Young Warriors are supported by a group of peers who are referred to as “Kindred Warriors”. These are young women who have life experience in foster/state care and have successfully transitioned into adulthood. The Kindred Warriors bring real life stories of first-hand experience and provide valuable advice on how to navigate a successful transition into adulthood.
To develop a mentoring relationship, both the mentor and mentee must feel that discussions of private issues or problems are being handled with discretion. The purpose of this agreement is to protect both mentors and mentees from a breach in confidentiality during the mentoring process.
In this document, mentees and mentors involved in the Program are referred to as “Participants”.
Throughout their involvement in the Program, a Participant may disclose, or receive, information of a confidential, sensitive and private nature including from or about other Participants (Confidential Information). Confidential Information also includes information you receive from personnel and volunteers involved in the Warrior Women Foundation.
To develop a successful mentoring relationship, all Participants are entitled to be certain that any use or disclosure of the Confidential Information will be treated confidentiality and will be only used for certain Permitted Purposes (see below).

There may also be certain situations where a Participant or Warrior Woman Foundation may be required to disclose Confidential Information in order to comply with law, or if necessary to prevent harm or maintain the health and safety of any individual in the Program.
